Default Power steering pump?

Noise, whine, plus smoke...no CEL, noisier when turning steering wheel. Do I need to flat bed it in? Please advise...

Yes, and I broke a line. Just discovered a puddle in my garage!! Time for the two truck!

Are you kidding? $1300 for a power steering pump and a line...Hendricks Porsche Charlotte. Your thoughts...
Cheap to purchase, expensive to keep running...I know, you warned me!

Oh, and it'll be ready next Monday maybe. Flat bedded in Tuesday the 22nd!

Dosie, slow down. Did the line leak trash your pump? Good used pump is much cheaper. Not a hard repair at all to DIY. Maybe its too late? You had it hauled?

Yeah, they did a temp fix with a used line and filled the pump and it was still noisy...

~400 @ Pelican Parts for the pump; the line can't be significantly extra. DIY and save yourself the money.

It may have damage, air, etc. You used Pentosin? Purged all air?

Plenty of us in CLT would be glad to help with a DIY garage day. The local PCA has a good few guys that love to work on our own cars.
