Wheel tire/offset help for Lobster Forks for 00 c2... please :)
Hi all!
So - I have searched, however, keep coming to a controversial list of findings.
I have a 2000 Porsche 996 Convertible and I just purchased a set of 997 lobster fork wheels (19x8 front and 19x11 rear.... Front offset is 57 and rear offset is 67).
Question #1. What sort of spacers (if any) will I need to have these fit my Carrera?
Question #2. What sort of tire sizes should I aim for?
My vehicle is lowered - and here is what it looks like!

You'll never find an official recommendation for these wheels on your car because the largest wheel diameter recommended by Porsche for the 996 is 18".
That being said, many people have installed 19" wheels on a 996, including the "lobster claws". I think you'll be able to get them to "fit", but I'd be worried about rubbing because of your ride height. Ultimately, you'll have to work through the controversial information and posts that you find and decide who you want to trust based on their anecdotal information.

Tires.... Pry 235/35/19 front, 295/30/19 rears. Anything smaller F or R and you'll get a stretched tire ( if that's your thing). Get a front and rear tire mounted on the lobsters & do some dry fitment before you proceed with spacers; my guess is that you'll get some rubbing. With a standard ride height and 19's, The rears can easily take a 7mm spacer, front ...14mm.
I've never done it, but a fender roller may be your solution.
What suspension set-up are you riding on? Adding 19's will def give you a harsh ride; prepare yourself for some trial and error.

Make sure you post pics when you get them mounted.
The NB need the 67 offset rears as you have listed. I read that stock cars can swap those on without issues. Lowered may need rolled lips.
