Convertible top adjustment

2000 996 cab. I have a gap between convertible top and the top seal when the top is open,is there an adjustment I can do? I circled the gap in the picture.

Unfortunately I have my hard top on right now so I can't help you. After saying that, you could raise the top as far as inspection mode position (half way up) and reach in under the rear window each side and release the wire either side hten lift the top up a bit. That way you can see inside if there is an adjustment bolt or screw which might tighten up the wire length. If so do not tighten it so far as the top will never reach the front anchor points of the front windscreen area. When the top is up, is the top tight looking or is it slack. If slack then it may need that adjustment. Hey let me say that this is only a GUESS on my part but it may help. Again the gap you indicate looks pretty well uniform across the back and does it really need to be adjusted in the first place?
