What a monster! I kinda like it too. I have place in my heart for 930s, having had one many years ago. The attention to detail on this car is impressive. I cannot imagine how tail-happy this car was at the initial 1400HP with the massive lag. It must have been downright terrifying.
The problem with this platform is the ability to put the power down usefully and not have the tail come around. Straight-line acceleration must really be something though!

As much as I have loved Bisi over the years for his honda work I dont yet know how I feel about this. I have owned a Bisi header, and I have a similar ITB set up that he has in my own civic. The reason he was inspirational was because he kept Honda's true to form, NA. I can appreciate turbo cars, but love natural aspiriation, I believe porsche was always meant to be an NA car, the 356, the 550, the RSR, GT3 RS and all the other Icons. I know there is the 959, GT1, the Turbo etc, but I always love the NA P-cars. So for him to go boost a P-car seems untrue to his original form, and my form

Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but it was built by someone with a clear vision of what they were going for, which I respect. And hell yes, it'd be fun to try it out!

I just don't like the look of the pre-996s since the 912 and get them confused. Until the 996 the bug eye look just got more pronounced and it just doesn't do it for me. I appreciate them for the machines they are, just not a fan of the aesthetic.

well then YOU are in the right car !!
Awesome!
the older cars are pulling at me more and more - I love me 3.2 to death (86') but if I could I would get another (earlier) car - those are way more fun to drive but would make a poor choice for a tack rat - so if I had to replace my 86' I would try for a 964 C2 - or RSA (89-94) - now you go there and I get all excited
If I had to choose a newer car for track duty (affordable car) I would be thinking Cayman or 997 C2S - but for that kind of money I could buy a well prepped 964 that would be WAY more fun IMO - having driven many cars in the last few years....the 356's have really become more interesting as are the 60's 911's.... then it jumps to the 73' RS (and clones) and then the Carrera's of 84-98 esp anything "interesting" and track dedicated
then it skips to the GT3's of late 996 - then the C2S of 997
if I was thinking newer car for DD - the 997 S are pretty sweet spot - I have driven a couple on and off track, they are really nice
not to "did" the 996 which is a fantastic car, it's just for me I have been there and would not go back unless I had owned several different model years because they are all so interesting and life is too short, as is my money
