I am keeping all stock parts my 40th AE and it is basically stock except for the matte black rims (hated the Silver ones) and I want to give it a more aggresive look to go with the x74 and drop I am installing. I like the look of the RS wing and with a black deck and the black rims has a nice contrast on a silver car.
Not looking to make it a GT3 nor re badge it as such I just am thinking of giving it a more agressive look.

I thought the 40th AE was already dropped with a better suspension? Am I missing something? Why are you modding a 40th AE car? Car was pretty much perfect from Porsche and may be quite collectable soon?

BINGO!
It's amazing how much misinformation / inaccurate information there is about the 40th AE. The car is OEM does NOT come with ROW 030 so it is at best 10mm lower than a stock Carrera and at worst a 4x4
There is a huge gap between tire and fender I have been planning on eliminating since I got the car and the goal is near
Also, with 1963 examples I am not convinced it will ever be worth much more than any other similarly equiped Carrera with leather interior and X51. Anyway, not a garage queen I drive it as often as I can which is daily most weeks that is all the appreciation I went into this thing expecting anything else will be gravy for me.
Thanks, for the feedback though.

Go for it! It is your car, mod the hell out of it if you want to.

If you decide to get one let me know as I am next in line
I was shopping around and it seems the right price is right under $3000.
FVD offers
http://shop.fvd.de/?VID=9754833&VCD=...m=FVD512996051
GMG offers
http://www.gmgracing.com/store/index...nd-plates.html
If you find better places, I am interested.
It sounds like the cheaper alternative like masha and getty are good but peel over time on car that are tracked. Not worth the saving as they are useless once damaged.
