Vibration from rear when traveling at highway speeds
Trying to diagnose a rear end vibration when driving and need to advice on where to continue the search. When traveling 50 mph and above there is a vibration coming from the rear of the vehicle that is identical to a wheel/tire being out of balance. I’ve had the rear tire/wheel combination balanced and indexed 3 times at 3 different locations; Firestone, Indy, Discount Tire which all used the Road Force Balance to look for a the vibration. In addition, I swapped wheels and tires with another set and the vibration is still present, so I am at a lost on what/where to look next.
Ideas?

have a good tire shop look at your rear tires (removed from the car) - start with the point of contact and work towards the transmission
lots of things all the way to motor mounts can cause this
if you have a close friend who can lend you a set of rear wheels for 20 minutes you can just swap and see if it goes away - really simple first step

Have you done any work on the car, or had any work done on the car recently? I've heard of vibrations coming from the engine compartment around that speed/rpm, if the air intake was not properly reinstalled.
