Default Can I replace my CDR 23 with the PCM BE 6634 Unit?

I hope this doesnt sound dumb but can I remove my Becker CDR23 and swap in the Becker PCM Model BE 6634 navigation unit? My car is a 2003 C4S. The CDR 23 is OEM in mine and I would like to replace it with the OEM navigation unit.

Anyone done this?

I'm sure somebody has done it.

Have you considered an aftermarket unit? I installed a Kenwood system and I couldn't be happier. It has modern features like Bluetooth, Sirius/XM, etc. Just a thought.

If my 996 was a show car, then I would be concerned about authenticity, keeping it original, etc. It's not a show car. It's a daily driver. The aftermarket system was the best option for me.
