Question Gives a vibration. What is it?

Lately I have noticed that when I start driving my car (1999 C2 48k) on cold I feel a slight vibration or it feels like one of the wheels is unbalanced but then then when the car warms up completely it goes away.

What do you guys think it is? Something major or something i should be worried about?

some tires flat spot easy - my Sumi's did, but 1/2 mile they would round out

Same for me... I think is is slight flat spotting of the uber low profile tires and when warmed up and spinning they begin to relax and come back into shape... for me it is worse the longer I let it sit, which makes sense.

It happens between 100-150 degrees and then after it warms up or if I drive for 2-3 miles it then drives perfectly. I drive on the Hankook Ventus V12 evos.

Front- 245/30/19 Rear- 285/30/19 my tire pressure is 36/40. This P car is more of my daily driver although im out of town often so it can stand up to 2 weeks in the garage.

Im taking a 300 mile trip up to Oklahoma on my P car and Im hoping its nothing serious. s

Then you should have someone that knows about cars have a look at it. Everything else is just a guess.

I just had a 45k mile done last week and everything was perfect except my serpentine belt needed to be replaced which I have. Ill take it to the P dealer tomorrow and see what they say.

If it happens when driving every day its probably not flat spotting but if it happens after sitting for several days then it probably is.

I have the same tires on 18 inch all round wheels. The only differance is I have 44 in the rear not 40. The most I let it stand is 3 days and no flat spotting. Mine are new tires BTW.

To discover if it is the tires at fault, let the car tick over on starting for 5 minutes. Then drive off and see if the problem still persists. If not then it is not the tires but something else.

Ive noticed it doesn't do it all the time, after it sits for a day or two. For instance I havent noticed it today at all but today I have talked with Tod (local P dealer mechanic) about this problem. He doesn't know what it can be so im going to just leave my Car at the dealer and he will examine it and see what is the problem.

Ill let you know if Tod will find the problem.
Nonetheless thanks for you thoughts and help.
