It is indeed a very nice modification.
Re the iPhone question, the iPhone 5 really does not fit - it is about an inch too long. I suspect there is the same issue with the iPhone 4.

That it is, thank you for the support IronMan1842 I would assume the 4 will have the same issue as well, since it's actually about the same length. Not sure I would want it to lay flat though, would be sort of hard to get out then. Was there any width issues ?

Got mine but the plastic grain seems a poor match for my 2002. Much rougher than the rest of the console. The interior was improved a bit for '02 so perhaps this is only a perfect match for 99-01 Carreras. Or perhaps the console that came with full leather has an additional coating (it is not leather-covered)?
