Narrow body vs wide body deck lids interchangeable?
 

I am trying to determine if the engine deck lid dimensions on a narrow body vs a wide body is any different? I am considering a different deck lid for my 996 Carrera, and I'm not sure it will fit.

Bottom line, I'm looking at a turbo decklid, but I'm not gonna run the full spoiler, just the tail. Thinking of making additional faux vents to cover the round holes where the spoiler attaches.

I have a line on one that is even the same color as my car, and as far as I know, it seems like they should interchange. But the seller says he's not sure. And it's not close enough for me to go and compare.

It's not a direct bolt-on fit. The turbo/C4S deck lid is longer and wider than the narrow body deck lid. You'll need to modify it to make it fit.
