To each it's own I think the factory 996 rear is Boring and ugly and the rear fins look stupid.
If who ever wants it wants it with the factory rear it takes only 15 min to swap.

It's on h&r coil overs.

Selling it cause I have a nsx also and i prefer that cars look. 996 is more fun to drive
But the nsx is more fun to drive fast.

its a 997 gt3 rs rear bumper for 996 from precision porsche

again im trying to fit the car in a picture using my phone man, never had so many people complain bout a angled picture. im assuming the older crowd likes all oem and the younger group likes the more modded look.

i put on that rear cause it was the only one that had vents to release some heat from the engine compartment. call it rice or what ever but i like the way it looks and its my car so i can do what i like to it. if you like the stock rear more power to you i think its ugly.

corn bread i hold all my ar15s, glocks and s&w straight i dont like shells ejecting in my face.

I think your car looks bad a$$ man. Great mods in my book. Good luck with the sale. I'd like to see pics of the NSX if you have any.

Car looks nice but I look really strange trying to see your pictures. What's with the funky angles?

[QUOTE=Kris79;9763517] im assuming the older crowd likes all oem and the younger group likes the more modded look.

i put on that rear cause it was the only one that had vents to release some heat from the engine compartment. /[QUOTE]

Pretty true in general, for "major" cosmetic changes. While we older crowd types like to mod our cars, we do tend to be less severe. When something screams "aftermarket add on", like the rear bumper and side skirts on your car do to me, then that will be the older crowds general reaction, where as the younger crowd often likes to be different for differences sake. Not many at any age like the stock US version 996 stance for instance, often quoting the "4x4" look. The nose is too high relative to the rear, which affects performance & handling. So while many of us lowered the cars via coilovers, X74, or X73 or ROW M030 to achieve the right look/performance, the slammed down look is reserved for real track cars, or street cars from the Fast & Furious crowd. It's no insult to say "it looks too ricey to me"...it's just my opinion, just like you don't like the stock bumper.
