Going Electric with my 996!

When I was planning my Boxster conversion I had mocked up
a pulley system to mimic the serpentine belt.
Solved PS, AC, and 12v charger problem.
Don't forget the peukert effect and IR drop when pulling all those amps out the battery.

Alpine... awesome pic and nice job with that. I had seen the other two links, and Kurt's Project one is particularly inspiring. I'm going with so many purchased parts and he's building his own electronics... boggles my mind.
At this point I believe we're going with some smaller electric pumps to satisfy all the external component needs. txhokie4life - your point about the peukert effect and IR drop are spot on - this can be all very confusing and fortunately I'm working with an engineer with lots of experience in the EV world and we've discussed all sorts of issues when pulling the amps.
MOST RECENT NEWS...
We finalized on a battery count and mostly finalized locations. I'll post some pics showing the foam block mock-ups and how they fit into the space vacated by the gas tank.
Monday, we're focusing on the physical installation (not wiring) of the J1772 fuel inlet, under the existing fuel cap access. We've confirmed the on-board charger will fit nicely where the old 12V battery was. That part of the bonnet chamber has external air flow so the chargers heat dissipation will be good since it's not enclosed like the rest of the frunk. This location also keeps the High Voltage AC wires (between the inlet and the charger) super short and neat.

OK, so I just found out that the DMV here in Oregon denied my request for a special plate that read EVNV, EV-NV or EV NV. (All for Electric Vehicle Envy, trying to say that this car was an EV worth NV... but apparently we cannot have only 4 letters, the space and dash don't count.
I was wondering if anyone can come up with another custom plate idea that might be great for this project. I was considering variations on my initial idea, such as 4EVNV, EV2NV, NVMYEV. BUT I had many other thoughts such as:
OHMAGE
RE-VOLT (R3VOLT)
911 EV
SWITCH
BL EV
LFBLWR
VROHM
DRM EV
NO GAS
So... thoughts? I tend to like ones that make you have to think about it rather than just say it... Here are the DMV "rules" below:
INSTRUCTIONS:
You can have up to six (6) characters on a custom plate. In addition to the six characters, you are allowed one extra space or hyphen.
You must have either one letter or number on the plate. You can fill each block with either a letter, number, or hyphen, or you may leave some blank.
You may not use three numbers followed by three letters.
You may not use three letters followed by three numbers.
Be sure to write clearly, distinguishing Z’s from 2’s, S’s from 5’s, I’s from 1’s.
With the exception of the hyphen, NO special characters or punctuation marks are allowed, such as # . ’ ! $ & " ?
Be sure to show where you want any spacing, especially if you do not want lettering to cover the tree portion (center) of your plate. Otherwise, all characters will be centered on the plate.

The motor came in today... the motor adapter plate has shipped, and most other parts are on the way. Finally things are about to come together... The best part is that I thought the build would get pushed back further as some large fuses we wanted were going to be 6-8 weeks out... but after we ordered, they shipped in 4 days! So, hopefully I can get some actual build photos soon!
