Default engine No.

Hi guy's did a bit of a search could't find any answers,could some one tell me where to find the engine No. on a 2003 996 please.

Default engine number issues

The larger issue might be does the car retain the original engine. A simple solution is to order the Certficate of Authenticity of PCNA, and then compare with the engine's stamping.

I think you can see that with the Durametric software - I have no idea where to look physically on the engine.

Though, on second thought, that's probably just the ECU's serial number.

So, sorry, I'm of no use at all!
