I bought some OEM exhaust figure of eight tips for my 2002 C4S from a very kind member of another forum, who had taken them off his 2003 996 4S. My car has no PSE, his does.

Asked the OPC to fit them at last service (i couldn't get the bolts undone), and they claimed they were too big to fit?

Do PSE and standard exhausts have a different diameter? I know that the turbo does, hence tips are not interchangeable.

Other possibility is a lazy OPC not wanting the hassle of fitting second hand tips. Will give it a go myself again, but wanted to pole around a bit first for some info.
