Price check on a 02 Cab
I thinking of upgrading to a 997.2 and was wondering what people out in RL land are seeing for real numbers on trades and private party sales?
I'd love to hear what people are seeing these go for, thanks in advance,
Tim
- The car is a pristine 2002 Cab, seal gray black int. 63,000 miles
- 60 k done, new water pump and reservoir, new brakes, and a recently painted hardtop.
- Car runs great and looks great, doesn't drop oil, and no leaks.
- Oil change every 5 k and no shinny bits in the oil, it also has a full service history.

I just acquired an '02 with 27K miles (blue, gray), tip, loaded with optional top and radar detector/jammer for $29,400 (she was asking $29,900, about $6K below KBB). Car was listed on AutoTrader and jumped quickly. Owner split shipping with me from Texas, which is why I got a slight discount off an already good price. My car needed two new rear tires and an alignment. Otherwise very, very clean (yeah, I got lucky on a great buy).
There was another one with same color combination that was local to me (SoCal), manual, not as well optioned, no hard top, no detector/jammer and the guy sold it very quickly for $36,900 (he was asking $36,999).
Anyway, two data points for you...
