Yes the mk2 clear tail light is a direct replacement for the mk1 amber tail light.

in reality, i would recommend these US M030 shocks to
1) anyone with old worn out standard shocks.
2) someone looking to convert to a US M030 shock spring package.

if your standard shocks are not very old and are working well, you may not appreciate much benefit from the US M030 shocks alone.

Are the tail lights in perfect or near perfect condition?
