How the hell is it they are so cheap in the UK?

Second question: can anyone say if you do a mod like the Fister D, since the PSE option is hard to find, are you going to have issues with the dealer regarding the CPO warranty coverage?

Man I'm dying to get into a 3.8 GT3. when my warranty expires I'll be on the hunt for either a white or black car. I'll gladly sacrifice comfort for track performance. Besides I use a chevy pickup for daily driving.

Because petrol and tax is so expensive. It has become popular to buy smaller engine cars that have a better mpg

Check out this one.

I would love to get an aircooled on to complement my "collection" of 1 so far!

I am surprised I am the only one going backwards in time towards air cooled, and everyone else is thinking 997 991 etc.... I wouldn't mind those either, but I have always loved the older ones too - even though I will lose HP/TQ and not to mention cash.

Stupid question - but the people above release they are speaking in English Pounds and not US Dollars right? There is a difference in value between the currencies - just checking to regain my sanity - sorry if this is already understood.

My wish list (in order) is:
993
964

I would be willing to take a 911SC too.... I'm not ALL that picky!

My next Porsche will most likely be a 964. Someday, I'll also have a Speedster replica to tool around in on the weekends.

Great topic!

First off, my next 911 will be a) more modern than the '99 I'm rocking now, and b) will have the full leather option. That said, I'm torn between a 996 Turbo ('04 ish,) vs. a newer 997. I'd love a GT3, but need a backseat for the forseeable future.

@sovery, I just saw a Panamera 4S yesterday, didn't even know they were making them in the 4 series. Makes sense, but had never seen one or heard of one until yesterday.

Still having too much fun with the 996TT.

The 991 doesn't really do anything for me right now. I would say 997.2TT cab MT, but I already make as much power just with a simple tune, and can go much farther if I want. I have a number of upgrades planned for the interior, exhaust, and wheels (about 12K worth). So I can't see any advantage to spending an extra 40-50K for better looking headlights.

I may change my mind one day, but right now I plan to keep it until the wheels fall off.

Turbo cab for me. Either 996 or 997, depending on which I can swing at the time.

On another note: I test drove a Panamera Turbo S recently. OMG!! I couldn't believe the power. Fastest thing I've ever driven. One of those will definitely be in my garage at some time.
