Cars and Coffee - Vintage Park, Spring, TX
Well, I saw Denver in my rear view mirror a couple weeks ago. Houston is a great town, but there seems to be a cop on every corner.
This past weekend, went to my first auto event - "Cars and Coffee", and parked along side other members of the PCA Lone Star Region. A great group of enthusiasts.
Took a few photos. Some aren't 996, but pCars just the same.

Awesome event. All types of super cars and vintage autos. Its at 249 and Louetta. I found about on the LSR facebook page. 1st saturday of the month. I was there at 6:30 AM to park with the group. The silver Turbo in the third photo was the one that finished 3rd at this years "Texas mile" - 212 MPH in the mile.

Vintage Park is a shopping mall very close to Tomball, about 20 miles NW of downtown Houston. Coming from Dallas you'll come straight down I-45. Timewise, you'd then take the Sam Houston Beltway west to 249, then 249 north. (This route adds a few miles but its all on fast roads.)
Coffee and Cars has been an institution in Houston for many years. So many cars show up monthly now that they've had to switch venues a few times to get one large enough to easily host everyone. It's a great car- and people-watching event. It's held the first Saturday of each month.

C&C Houston is a great event. 1200 plus cars out there during the late spring to summer time. You need to get there by 6:30am if you want to park with the rest of the Porsches. It is a little north of Houston and held the first Saturday of every month. Free event. The Houston LSR PCA also has get togethers on the other Saturdays all over Houston. Most start around 8:30ish and end around 10:30ish. Location are listed on the LSRPCA.com site.
Todd's Car should be even faster at the fall Texas Mile event.
