Any PCM experts around?

I have PCM1 in my 2002 Targa. It doesn;t work, doesn;t seem to initiate.

Although the disk i got with the car is a copy, so i cannot absolutely verify that this isn;t part of the problem, however it isn;t giving me a disk error, it just doesn;t seem to initiate.

I had to disconnect the battery for some work and when reconnected it would only allow me to enter to pcm code, the nav code entry field was grey.

Can anyone give me any advice on what might be the issue?

The two amber lights on the drive unit are flashing if that means anything?

PS - does anyone have a PCM1 manual on PDF, i haven;t got one !

This won't help you...but I had the same issue (though I dont jave a disk in it), flashing LEDs. Couldb't enter nav code either. After a few weeks it went away... very strange, bit I dont use it anyway.
