Default help: exhaust smoke

i just cold started my 996 to warm it,, i started ok then i noticed a very light like vapor smoke coming out the exhaust,, the smoke is darker and more dusty than regular vapor,, doesn't smell like oil,, the smoke kept coming out even after warmed up,, it comes even more when i rev it,,

any idea?

Check coolant tank and make sure there's no milkshake looking thing.. Then the dipstick.. If all good go buy an aos and change it..

What year? Are the drains under the battery clear? Did it sit out in a heavy rain storm last night? Dip Stick is the yellow ring above the alternator left of the filler tube.

its a 2002 C4S
no heavy rains
i don't know what RUF did to the dipstick when they did the kompressor

could it be bad fuel? i just filled the tank the night before

How anyone can own a decent car and not know there is an oil dipstick is beyond me.

Post a couple high quality pics of your engine bay and we will find it for you. There is now way that they would not leave a way to check oil levels that would be asinine!

Uhh... Wouldn't it be on the same spot as the rest of ours? If the dipstick is missing could that cause a leak in the vacuum system and be part of the problem?

Maybe moved it or it's lower, higher, shorter??
Maybe Kompressor seals?

Another +1 for the AOS.

Did you drive it hard the last time you used it? I find that after I drive it hard, I do get some smoke. I've also got an '02 C4S

i will contact RUF for the dipstick,,
kompressor oil level is ok,, beside i could've told the ugly rotrex oil burning smell,,
