Default Did you know center seat section folds down?

Recently discovered the center section of my drivers seat had come free (like a peeled banana) exposing the guts for lumbar support and padding. I assume because my support has been max inflated for a decade and the constant pressure finally broke something.
I assumed fix would involve an upholstery shop but a quick search turned up the following 6 speed thread explaining the center section can be folded down quickly (grabbing the upper part & lifting up) and people were doing this to mod their seats. Getting it back in place sounds like a PITA but I'll find out later & will post some better pics.

Please discuss....

Interesting...I like the Winchester 12 gauge shells, is that what you are thinking of hiding in there now that you know you can?

My center section is not staying in place and looks like it needs to have the three white hooks replaced. Any ideas where I should order those from?

Yes, but like you said, sometimes getting things hooked back on at the top is hard. I've done this on some Nissan headrests years ago which is ten times easier than the way the midsection is on the 996. However the pro's do it in seconds.
