I'm just wondering if anyone would like to give an update on your shock wear/handling after installing only lowering springs and not shocks. There is plenty of reading about people that have done it, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of feedback afterwards (at least not after more than a couple months). How are things holding up? Have the shocks worn super fast?
Thanks,
CR

Not sure on my '02 C4 Cab if it's the springs without shocks but I hear a low rumble when I travel lightly bumpy roads. I've had it in to my Indy and they think that is what it is.
Anyone else with an idea?

I am looking to lowere as well and now x74 is not available so been contemplating just springs. How do your guys cars ride is it overly stiff? How low are they on H&R springs and finally with 53k miles on mine should I just do shocks at same time? Which shocks work well with H&R?

It cost's the same to install, most people go with pss10's. It's fully adjustable.
Here is stock vs H&R springs. They are not as low as what can be done with the pss10s'

I believe lowering it will increase the max amount of negative camber you are able to dial in and decrease the amount of negative camber you are able to dial out.

I replaced the shocks all around (front strut was shot) and added H&R racing springs last year...dropped the car about 1.5 inches...much better on the track, but still very livable for commuting...no rubbing with 235 front and 285 rear.

Shame that the X74 is so darn expensive now and for a DD I just can't justify the expense and trouble of PSS10's. Those look good maybe H&R springs are in my near future along with some Koni Sports.
