Default Loose rear window trim seal...

Anyone ever had a loose rear window seal?

It was sort of embarrasing as I downshifted to pass someone and the darn rear trim came loose and was flapping on the highway.

I managed to push it back in but doesn't really seam tight. Is this piece suppose to be held in place only by tension or is there some kind of adhesive I should use?

TIA

I used butyl tape to secure mine. Small diameter, rolled thin and pressed into the seam. Works like a champ

Is it normally a press fit from the factory?
