WOOOOOE!!! I take that back- unless that is a misprint on their website, these are more expensive than the Ruf Wheels at $1250 a copy ($5000 for a set of four)! http://rotiform.com/products_nue_monoblock.html

Well, if you go for the cast wheels instead of the forged, you'll save about a thousand dollars per wheel. The 18" cast ones are $280-320 depending on the width.

Wow, dem painted shoes on dat whip look phat, son. I'ms gonna grab me a set a those off eBay next time they come up. Look'n flossy, yo... pacifically wif da white center caps! Only thing das left to do is a knock in da back and some hydraulics. Then dat whip would be on da cova of West Coast Customs Magazine, yo!

Don't take it personal, that's why there's more than one flavor or ice cream... but I gotta ask, what were you thinking?

I run cast 19" Rotiform NUEs on my daily ('00 VW Passat wagon). Great wheels for the price. However, the largest cast versions are only 19x8.5", so for a proper Porsche fitment, you'd have to move up to the forged versions, which you can get in any size/width/offset your heart desires, but they are considerably more expensive that cast wheels. You get what you pay for, though.

I also have a custom built set of Rotiform forged wheels on my C4S (this model is called the TMB):

Are custom built forged wheels expensive comnpared to cast wheels? Yes. But, they are expensive to buy because they're expensive to make. Also for your money, you get wheels that fit YOUR car exactly the way YOU want. I had very specific sizes/offsets in mind for my wheels and you can barely slide a credit card between my fenders and tires, but I get zero rubbing and I didn't need spacers to get the wheels sitting where I want them to.

Alright, alright, you have a point, different strokes for different folks... I didn't mean to be rude and hurt anyone's feelings. Just a bit of Tom Foolery.

I just did a quick google search and found several sets of these cast Ruff wheels available in the $3500-3800 price range. All were 19" by 8.5 and 10 inch which will work on a 996. Suggest you use the 5MM spacer/bolt set you can also find at several retailers.
I bought my 18" Ruff wheels from a Canadian retailer 7 years ago when the US dollar was strong, but I cannot find him on the WEB now.

$5000 for wheels is a bit insane though. Think the Ruf may be the way to go at $2000 less. I love those on your Passat though... very sweet!
