Looking at an 02 c4s with 38k on it. Twice on repair list was "sunroof hoses repaired" Is this the equivalent of cleaning leaves out of a drain area?

If not, what damage might have resulted from these needing to be repaired?

Usually it just involves blowing them out with compressed air and clearing any leaves out of the drain area.
Not sure where the water would end up if the drains clogged. I'll bet it would not be welcome wherever it ended up.

Look for water under the rear carpets or stains on the headliner.
