Everything you need to know about the HSM 2012 including photos of the dreaded T shirt is here http://www.cpa-pca.org/swap/ I am thinking of going for a nosey today despite them failing to recognise the 996 on the T shirt.

I hope you left BEFORE you paid to get in. Otherwise, they still win and your departure was an empty gesture.

Well I went today and as I passed the toll booths I told the guy, as I held out $10, that I was heading for the Porsche swap meet... He told me to put my money away and to drive to the car park at the Giant stadium and I parked next to 3 other Porsches. Then thinking the event was inside the Stadium, walked to the front only to discover that the swap meet was over a small walking bridge next to the Stadium. I was at the meet within a few minutes and it cost me nothing. BTW here is an album which I took at the meet today. Check it out, You may see yourself or your car there. . Didn't see many 996 cars there. Maybe they were boycotting the meet because the 996 was not acknowledged on their T Shirt.. Not me I bought a couple of nice garments with the Porsche words and emblems embroidered into them. It was my first Porsche swap meet and hopefully not my last. I live only 25 miles from Hershey.

Thanks for the pics - I'm too far away to go, but I would have boycotted no matter how anyone feels. We have the Nor'Easter chapter up here, and it's a group of great people. I guess I let one bad apple bother me - maybe if it was some random guy - but the President of the chapter is a Porsche snob.

In attending CPA activities in the past I always felt that it was an "air-cooled" club and that they begrudgingly tolerated the water cooled crowd. This whole incident(shirt and Pozner letters) only confirms my prior suspicions.
Not another fcking dime from me CPA. I only regret that I gave you too many of my dollars in the past.

Yes I saw lots and lots of air cooled cars. Not many at all water cooled anywhere on show. Probably a 500 to 1 ratio if not higher. I joined PCA for my first year but wont be continuing my membership. Not just for that reason but thats a good enough reason anyway. I mean it would be nice to chat with other water cooled enthusiasts but they would have been very hard to find at Hershey. I presume that most events are like Hershey event. Maybe track events would be more in line for meeting up with other water cooled guys.
