I am looking for solutions to fix the rubbing of my tires with the front fender liners at full wheel lock.
Right now I am limiting myself to only one full turn of the wheel and there is no rubbing. But if i go full lock, which is an additional 3/4 turn of the wheel, then I have rubbing.
The worst/best part is that you can't feel or hear it when you drive, or should I say maneuver at low speed but if I don't pay attention I will end up with a couple of holes in the fender liners and that bothers me.
My car is lowered with the PSS9 setup so the rubbing is actually less than with original suspension. The wheels setup is:
Rims:
-----
front: 19x8x46
rear: 19x11x68
Tires:
------
front: 235x35x19
rear: 295x30x19
Did anybody find a way out of this ? I heard about 'cup' fender liners or may be trying to shape them with a heat gun, but I would like to hear about some success stories.
Pictures to come ;0
