Man, thats a beautiful car & with the right set of wheels there would be no end to how Awesome it would look! But, to me those are definitely not the ones (those actually take away from the car as you can't help but see them jump out at you). Like everybody says though its YOUR car & what you LIKE! I think alot of it has to do with age of who likes & dis-likes (most of the purists & old fluddy duddies don't like it)
and the younger crowd likes them! jmo

When you had the rear fenders rolled, did the paint chip or flake at all due to the metal being bent?

Using a heat gun is the trick to prevent paint chipping when rolling fenders. I've done a few and never had chipping paint using this method(lucky I guess).

I customize my cars to the way I like them...and most of that work never shows.

Wawa? Is that a high end auto salon? Local Porsche club?

Car looks awesome. Not feeling the wheels, but to echo most others, if you like them, that's all that really counts.

Less is more....IMHO....I guess to each its own. I did lots to my 996 but not too loud and try to keep it as factory looking as possible. Like the Aero kit.

Default love it

hey there.. im killing myself reading all the posts from the purest who think everybody who owns a porsche should have some oe wheels off another model, and anyone that goes against it is insane!! very narrow minded and boring if you ask me, a friend of mine put cayanne turbo 20in wheels on his 996 bet no one would even be game enough to try that because its unheard of and porsche wouldnt recommend that.. look outside the square ppl instead of being a bunch of sheep following each other!! i want these wheels on my 986 and will be squeezing the 19x11s on the rear!! bet all the purist are cringing again!!! no one looks at a porsche with standard oe wheels and says wow that looks different do they now...
