I don't think anyone makes a glass rear window for the cab that is as big as the plastic window. I think that even the factory glass window on later models was smaller than the plastic. A trade off.

I have said it before and Ill say it again "whoever designed the MK1 wheel for the Tip should be taken outside and shot".

Who the hell drives with there hands positioned at 2:45 and there thumbs permanently wrapped around the wheel.
There really was no point putting those shift buttons there they may as well have been in the trunk!.

There were a lot of upgrades for the MK II but the one that caught my eye was this from a list in "Porsche 996 - The Essential Companion": " (for 2002) bodyshell structural reinforcement increases the flex and torsional strength of Carrera and turbocharged Coupes by 25% and all normally aspirated Cabriolet models by 10%". And also, don't forget, the first year ever for a cup holder in a Porsche....
