Capt.,

I read your thread carefully. I would like to now more about your AWD -> 2WD conversion. Did you put the FWD parts back in before selling? How long did it take? Was the front end more reponsive with AWD or 2WD?

I did convert the car back to AWD at the new owner's request when he bought it, it took about three hours.

The front end wasn't necessarily more responsive with the AWD removed, the car just drove like a RWD car. You could definitely tell the weight was missing from the front of the car.
