Default cheap seat fix

Well, new 996 and I found that the partial power seats were too flat and did not give me the support on the forward part. I am tall and have the seat all the way back and have to have some angle in the seat bottom to feel right.
I removed the forward seat bolts, slid a flat washer under each seat frame in way of the bolt hole, reinstalled the bolts and it is much better.
Next thing is to see if I can move the entire seat back about an inch.

You must be REALLY tall because I'm 6'4" and have plenty of room in my car (which has a sunroof), and have adjustability to spare.

I am 6'5" but, with the seat all the way back and down, my legs are still bent pretty good so I like having the forward part of the seat up relative to the back.

curious if you did not discover this when you took the car for a test drive?

Yes I did. I test drove several 996s, with and without the full power seat. I noticed the full power option could change the angle of the seat bottom, the half power could not.
