OT Panamera Scam
Yeah, I know this isn't the Panamera forum but i dont hang out there and I had to post this 100% classic scam ad from cars.com. My buddy has a hankering for Panamera and found an 11 for 48k. Too good to be true, of course! Enjoy....

Hi *Xxxxx,
*
Thank you for you interest in my 2011 Porsche Panamera.Let me tell you a few words about the car The exterior of this vehicle is VERY GLOSSY, dent free and Very nice all around! *The interior is also Very nice and Clean! Owned by a Non-Smoker.Car runs great, drives very nice, ready to go to a new owner. No accidents no damage no problems.
These are great cars and this one will give many years of reliable service. And super gas mileage !! Only 11,972 miles.Tires and brakes are excellent. It has just been inspected..all is fine. The car is a truly wonderful state of the art machine. This car is current on all services, plates, inspections etc.More pictures available along with a free CarFax report !
*
The only reason for selling is that I have recently moved to Budapest,Hungary with my job(I work in the real estate and have 3years contract here) and brought the car with me.After moving here I discovered that I have to pay 30% of the Sticker-Price for registering it. *I cannot sell it locally due to of very high import duties and all the restrictions regarding registration and emissions tests so the only thing is to sell it back to US.The car is in Budapest only for a *month and I didn't made any modification ,its still under US standards, is still registered in the US and it still has US plates.
*
The price is $$48,000.00 and because i want a deal as soon as possible i am ready to cover the shipping costs and insurance.
Buying or selling on the Internet this days can be rather difficult and it is always hard to trust your partner *that's why for the shipping and payment process I'd like to use an escrow service for our own protection.
*
*
If you are interested in knowing more details, I will gladly assist you.
*
*
Thank you!

Buy it, resell it in Germany for a healthy profit. No import duties there as that's the country of origin. Berlin is pretty close at 425 miles from Budapest. Or Vienna, Austria; only 135 miles from Budapest. Not certain but I assume there is free trade between countries of the EEC. Porsche's in general are cheaper in the US than in Europe from what I understand.
I know, too bad it's a scam.
