Yeah - and honestly in the winter this would be annoying too.

Riad,

For what it's worth, since I've been separately researching this I figured I'd share some new information that I found recently.

I found a couple of (non-Rennlist) forum recommendations for a company called Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists (http://www.awrswheelrepair.com) so I decided to check them out more closely. A few of the people talking about AWRS were in the NY metro area and recommended a guy out of Westchester named Bob Varieur (bobvarieur@awrswheelrepair.com). The best part is that they're a mobile franchise and they've got guys all over the area if convenience is a factor for you.

Anyway, I pinged Bob and he quoted me $100/wheel for the 18s on my Volvo. The risk to these franchises is that you never really know what you're going to get if you go to different people but you can always do a search for any comments on the rep in your area.

Sounds like Bob might cover parts of Rockland County, too.

Some wheels can go out-of-round too, so ask if the guy is going to check/repair that or is only going to do cosmetic work. I have the same wheels shown in the photo that Marc G. posted above and my indy showed me that my rear wheels are no longer round.

Default Perfect color match

FWIW, I repaired my OEM 17" "twist" wheels using epoxy filler, low grit sand paper, and the following Wurth spray can products:
>Silver Wheel Paint (art. # 1892181)
>GL Clear Laquer Spray Pnt (art. # 0893 351 930-U)

Frankly, they now look like new. The biggest challenge was finding the right Wurth products.

I have tried in different cars with great results. If you don't want to do any work, I am sure you will find plenty of places for $ 200-300 for the whole set.

Give it a shot...you can have it done in about 3-4 hours.

I recently had my CTT and my Audi wheels done. They were powder coated. I have a local guy in Walnut Creek, CA who has always helped on this task. Some of the wheels were bent and he straighten them as well. Yeah, its worth fixing and agree the cost is well worth it

I have painted the edges on mine. I went to PPG automotive and got the two part epoxy paint. It didn't get affected by mounting wheels. Very hard paint and easy to apply.
