Hello all,
Can someone help me with this small problem I've had thrust upon me? I thought I'd come straight t the source....![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
A friends father-in-law has just purchased a 2000 996 C2 and I'm told it has 17" wheels on it. ( 9" at the back, don't know about the front)
He wants to put some BBS Classix on it and they are stated as being:
"BBS Classix 4x10x18 et50 PDC 5x130 Porsche MB 71.58mm, wheel load 800kg"
1, will this ET fit? (Surely he needs narrower wheels up front?)
2, what's this MB?
3, are 996's PCD 130mm?
Thanks in advance

18" wheels on a 996 have offsets of:
front 50
rear 65
I will look in my manual tomorrow for proper wheel and tire sizes... if you have the manual available, the proper wheel/tire sizes will be listed there.
Alternatively, you can visit www.tirerack.com and you can get the proper sizes there for stock options, both in 17" and 18", and even 19".
I have 19"s on my car (came with them), it is an '01 C4, but not much different than your friend's... I will say one thing, 19's run really hard on the road, you can feel every bump, but they look great. I myself am considering putting on a set of 18's with factory size tires just to make the ride smoother. Although, I do live in the New York City metro are, so our roads here suck.
Let us know.
