Windshield Washer Nozzle Replacement
Hi - I need to change over one of my windshield washer nozzles this weekend - it's not uncommon in this part of the world to have to change your windshield washer nozzles because they get water in them when the snow melts, which then freezes and expands when the weather drops to -20, requiring a replacement of a nozzle...
I see that the nozzle itself is $20, but the new "harness" (only 2 wires) is about $75 - because both have changed over to 997 parts. So, two questions:
1. How does one remove the nozzles, are they a "twist and remove" design, or is there some kind of retaining clip?
2. Is it worth it / necessary to get the harness - shouldn't I just be able to splice in the 2 wires? Is there any reason why I shouldn't do this?
Thanks!
