Most desirable Porsche ?
I am borrowing this link from B&W that he shared on the Canadian forum. Some great cars here , but I am sure there should be a debate..the 991 is already on the list ? Check it out. http://www.cnbc.com/id/34774345/

I'm with you, once I come into some money I'm going for the classic first instead of the latest and greatest. (that'll be the check I write a little later on )

Having driven the 991 extensively on a race track, I have no doubt they got it right. It's not a matter of opinion but rather lap times.

For me the early 959's. Maybe only because I was a teenager at the time, following Group B.. and thought that car was the ultimate machine. Way too many glossy magazines.

Did I miss it ... or did this "expert" skip the Carrera GT? And in it's place put in your everyday Boxster? I thought this fellow was talking about Collectibles till he listed the Boxster. These lovely little Porsche are great... but they are in every used car lot in town... and my 968 is holding value better than a 986 - come on fella, from the description of the 981 and 991 I would say this was a "news release" straight for Porsche AG.

991s have been in public hands for what, 30-45 days? No one has any idea of how they will hold up or what problems may arise as the cars start to get some miles on them. One need only look at the various model-specific message boards to find things Porsche didn't get right on each previous generation of 911.
Considering that pretty much anyone with an adequately funded checkbook can get themselves a 991, they aren't very collectible at this point.
