Will a 997 hood fit on a 996 chassis

Can you swap out the 996 hood to a 997 hood without changing to a whole 997 front end?

nope. the hood is curved differently Just look at the corners of the hood. The 997 is rounded. The 996 is a sharp corner.

But a 986 Boxster one will fit.
And it will cost a LOT less too.
