Default Power steering pump flow rate?

Does anyone know what the flow rate is for the 2002 996 C2 stock steering pump? It should be rated in liters per minute or equivalent. I'd like to replace with an electronic hydraulic pump, but I need some specs and can't seem to find any.

Its for this project, BTW: http://kurtsprojects.blogspot.com

Thanks for your help!

Actually the pump would be rated for liters/rev or liters/min at a given rpm since the pump rpm and flowrate varies with engine rpm. How will you manage flowrate at different speeds with the electric pump? Do you just size it for the max rate? I am not sure what this would do for your steering feel.

I agree lpm vs rpm is a graph I have seen for other pumps. My understanding is the power steering gear orifice changes based on vehicle speed so even though Lon increases as rpm increases, the amount allowed to affect the steering gear is reduced as speed increases.

Don't know the flow rates but you might try renegadehybrids.com .They have an electric power steering conversion kit .
