Default Muffler Bypass Or Cat Delete?

Hi guys,

I am considering either 1 of the options metioned above. I am currently running Fabspeed's maxflo mufflers.

Anyone got ideas on which is better interms of sound and performance? Which would you choose?

Only problem with cat delete is i ll have to swap them out for the stock ones every year before inspection.

Cheers

I wouldn't delete cats because of the reason you mentioned. Muffler bypass is cheap, easy, and reversible, although a bit loud.

I like my bypass pipes. Some people hate them. Had them for about a year and not getting rid of them . Weight saving also. To each his own though. Feather the throttle next to cops and easy pulling into the neighborhood if you get the bypass. The sound is so nice though...for people that like to hear the engine.

fister d muffler is prob the best choice. aggressive, yet calm when you need it to be.

wish there was a viable intake option for cars w/tiptronic
