AIRBOX INTAKE MISSING AFTER DEALER SERVICE
#16
To the OP, what about the dealer replacing the missing parts? There's no way the shop is stating that the car came to them missing the OEM air box elbow. ??

Drifting
This is exactly what I was thinking when I read the OP's first post.
If the dealership/tech did work in the engine bay then the tech should have made a note of the missing intake piece as soon as he began the work. Also, knowing the stealerships, they would have told you about the missing piece and then quickly tried to sell you a replacement which would have been the right thing to do.
Either way the tech who worked on your car is incompetent and I would not allow him to work on the car again, even if you do go back to this same dealer for service.

I agree!!! But, i'm 60 miles from them and after that it's 140 in the other direction. Went to a shop on fri. "901" but they only work on race cars, so i'm still looking. They did give me a referral to another tech, i just have to check his knowledge and experience out.
Thanks
