its weight James...these are a tad heavy PLUS they require additional spacers which are pretty heavy

I would like a bolt on - lighter wheel

with a bi-level effect, and not too expensive

Do you need the spacers for the wheels to clear the calipers?

just to bolt them on...the offsets are 55mm off in rear and 32mm off in front....they would hit the inner fender well before they contact the hub

Are those tires street legal Ed? How about in the rain? Looks like you are quite the track rat.

awe... yea.... they are legal....I think

track rat ? WUAH?
dude....I am having the time of my life, my ONLY regret is not getting into this earlier - DE today and its raining, I am running these tires so i will report back - my goal for the day:

later braking
smoother brake pedal release
pass all the turbo's and GT3's and that damn GTR! (ok well maybe not, but I can dream right)

the car is WAY different than it was 2 weeks ago, really a little nasty *****, noisy and loves to go though the turns faster than I am comfortable with right now....really sticks! The brakes come on really well and without ABS I have to re-find the threshold point...its NUTSO HIGH! once the weight is forward I can really come to a stop so fast it shocks me, I have been thinking I have so much brake i will never need it all

cant wait to need more

packed and heading out in about an hour

Hope your track time is put to good use even with some rain. Do you ever get to ride with an instructor piloting your Porsche? Sounds like you are having a blast with your 911.

Front fender rolling is next...never on track but on city streets I tagged a tire hitting a pot hole - no damage, just a real quick tap...but going to roll em

I am hoping for some video soon, my camera is on loan but there is some video out there

I guess I forgot to report back on the tires - DE we had rain, pretty heavy rain that tapered off as the day went on to a dry afternoon - first session was raining - I passed EVERY SINGLE CAR in my run group - holy **** !! when we hit the paddock people were coming over saying "holy crap, you were fast, what tires are you on"
good for them it stopped raining and my measly 200 HP was out gunned in the straights - my corner speeds were 20 mph higher than I have ever run....and the tires didnt mind, no noise, no feeling of control loss - I know these are more likely to have a very sharp drop off point and recovery is nearly impossible so while getting to know them I was still only about 8-9 tenths max but the speeds are incredible and I was able to really enjoy the subtle line changes that allowed me to carry more speed in since the little ponies just dont put down the power of the new cars

overall - I will not be tracking the Conti's or Sumi's ever again, this was $ spent right....seriously changed the car - but keep in mind the suspension was already done - it is a must do as well

Cheers dudz!
