New Guy
After spending a bit of time shopping for a 964/993, I had an "ooh, shiny!" moment this past weekend and ended up bringing home an '02 C4S instead.

The car has higher mileage for a Porsche (90k miles), but it came with a huge stack of maintenance receipts and everything checked out just fine when inspecting it; also the price was too good to pass up and I'm confident in these cars ability to do 200+k no problem if you take proper care of them.

The car is already fairly well sorted with Bilstein PSS10s, spherical ball joints, B&M short shifter and an unidentified exhaust (I think it's Fister).
I come from a VW/Audi background, so I'm no stranger to high maintenance vehicles.
The 911 is replacing my '01 S4 Avant:

So far, this forum has been invaluable to me for acquiring a lot of information about these cars so I could make an educated purchase decision. And strangely enough, my insurance premium went down compared to the Audi. Go figure!
A friend of mine also has a C4S, but he has the all-red interior in his and we may swap a few bits of our interiors to add some contrast. Not 100% on thatidea yet though.

(I still have my '00 Passat wagon for utilitarian/daily driving duties, however it doesn't have the ~350 horsepower that the S4 had).

Can anyone identify these coilovers? I thought the car had Bilstein's on it, but when I took a wheel off today I realized the springs are a purple-ish color rather than blue.
The upper mounts are anodized gold, which makes me think Ground Control, but the purple springs and red/blue perches confuse me.
Any ideas?
They're JIC coilovers.
Not sure how their reputation is in the Porsche world, but they have a good name with the JDM crowd.
