Default Alcantara Wheel for my 996

Had Don from Dallas Custom Wheel wrap my spare steering wheel in Alcantara w/ position stripe. I am very pleased with Dons work!

lets say you want to wrap the armrest, do you remove the leather? or you wrap directly on it?

also do you glue the alcantara only under the armrest or put some everywhere? not sure if its clear what i'm asking hehe

I am not expert, but I believe the leather would be removed first. And if you all ready have a leather wrapped armrest I would see how that is attached underneath, the alcantara would go on the same way.

Looks great! Thinking of doing the same to mine. Did you get it padded so the wheel is thicker? What was the cost?

How much does something like that cost? I might be quite interested in doing that myself. Thanks

Awesome interior Randy! But, your shoe laces clash with the yellow accents and key ring fob!

But seriously, does ight color Alcantra pick up stains and dirt from your hands more than stock leather?

alcantara cleans up very well and is very durable, yes light will show a little more dirt, warm water mild soap should do the trick,if grease is a problem i use a little tide! good luck

I have a suade looking head liner. I wonder if it's real leather (I have the full leather option), or alcantara?

I can assure you it is Alcantara. Porsche has been using it for a long time.
Real suede has major care problems and is not desireable as an automobile interior fabric.
