Default What a Great Forum! Now, how do you answer this question?

Great info and clearly more lively than other forums I have been on. Brought home my first P car back in September. MY03 996 Cab, 6-spd, 50k miles. My wife says I still have the smile on my face! I love the question I get asked every day, "How do you like your car?". How do you explain to someone that have never owned a 911?

The correct answer is "more than my wife...

...likes the car."

Nice red vent slots. I don't think even Sid has those.

Awesome car!!! Great choice, in case you didn't know GR cars are the fastest.

I've owned my 911 for about 7+ years now and it still brings a smile to my face when I drive it. Although it can be frustrating as a DD given the low speed limits and the ever present LOEs. In that way, ownership can be akin to being married to a supermodel and only having sex with her a couple of times a year, i.e. track days.

Sometimes pics won't do...take that person in your Porsche for a ride, and then they'll know why you like your cab so much. Thanks for the pics.

Have them stand behind the car, rev the engine and that should help explain.

Beautiful car! I enjoy my cab around Tucson, especially during Winter, from the landscaping, it looks like you are in the SW too?

Nice car. Love the red accents.

Is your rear console red also?

Thanks...all great replies.

Divot- perfect answer. Actually, I was looking for a triple black cab, but my wife actually found the Guards Red online and convinced me to buy it. She says my mid-life crisis is now complete.

DreamCarrera-did not know that but I do now! I hear the local sheriff ALSO thinks GR's are faster! Would still like to know more about that supermodel...

Down South-"rear console"? Not sure about that one, but red accents on all vents, dash trim and any exposed metal in the cabin. White dials on the gauges and I immediatley ordered black floor mats with "PORSCHE" stiched in red. Looks sweet!

Jsmirand-yes, I live in Scottsdale. Top down weather 340 days a year! I know you can relate.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you!
