I just ignore them. Sometimes I wave at the less fortunate as they buzz around me.

It does get annoying.

+1 on just ignoring them. I know what i got and so do they. Don't need to prove anything....i just enjoy my cars for the simple pleasure of ownership not show-boating.

I don't like to activate them when it's very cold, because they can get stuck in the up position.
When driving my GMC 4x4 pickup, I have done the windshield washer trick if someone is really tailing me on 2 occasions and both times it worked very well, especially with the car that was absolutely spotless behind me....before he got a free wash.

I thought the people on medications were bad enough.

Ha ha ha hilarious I have to try the rear fog light idea good idea, although in the daytime it might be kinda hard to see depending on the lighting. At night I could see this working very well.

So, see this brings up an interesting point proving this happens all over the world not just in your city or providence there are idiot drivers everywhere. If I ever buy another exotic like a Ferrari F430, Noble, Austin Martin, Audi R8 etc does this mean drivers get more jealous the better car I own? Btw I love Supras and Acura NSX the only 2 Jap cars looking exotic enough me.

This technique worked very well in my Saab 9-5. That car put out a shocking amount of fluid when you washed the headlights...

I find that often the worst offenders are middle-aged men in new Mustangs.
I had this 50 something come bother me all the time on the way home from work in a newer 05-06 Mustang GT with flames on the side. I guess he heard my mildly modded Golf turbo spool and he wanted to race. I mean every time I saw this guy he would try to race. Needless to say it happened one day and I stayed way closer to the guy than he anticipated. He was really smug about winning while I just laughed which made him really angry. Fast forward to the next week when I decide to drive my 996, I pull up next to the guy and wave. He takes off like a grandma and turns at the next exit he never takes.... it was awesome.
