Default fister d mufflers installed- video clip attached... and some advice

Ordered them about 3 wks ago. Arrived the other day. Paid $300 for installation as all the bolts on the right side were so corroded the shop had to drill / cut out old bolts and install new ones. All in a $600 mod that is well worth it. Darin and Fister d is an absolute class shop.

My advice is that if you live in an area where they use salt on the roads and you drive the car in the winter, all the muffler bolts will likely be badly corroded - (my car has been through 11 winters so....) and you have to budget / factor in many more hours than my friends in Arizona or CA that have them swapped out in under an hour....

Cool video!

Sound is amazing itsn't it?

I was lucky enough to have the 'man' itself installing them for me. Took him less than 1 hour

The sound is amazing with the FisterD mod and should be on your list of things to do if you don't want to spend big $ on a new exhaust system.

I guess I was lucky with my 2000 Cab. I had one corroded cat bolt that I wound up cutting off. Other than that it was pretty easy. I've had mine on for about a year and the joy hasn't warn off. Great mod.

Did my own hack with 1.5" U bend SS!
Best bang for the buck. Car now sounds like a proper Porsche. All the bolts on my '99 came out without issue. Guess I was lucky, or maybe it was because the car had a Factory crate motor installed about 2 years ago.

One of the most pleasing, simple, inexpensive mods I have ever done. AND, over a year later and I still love the sound. Darin is amazing...spread the word. RS- enjoy the new music!
