Default Has Fister D closed? Difficulty contacting them

Originally I ordered mufflers several months ago probably July. Then I followed up with a phone call and I think I spoke with the "man" himself. We talked about thermal coating and the misplaced email. He even found my original order. I left a couple messages on their voice mail but no joy.

I'm not trying to berate them but I didn't expect this. Oh well. Just venting...

yup - call and talk to Darin.
You have to remember they're not a huge business. They're a small custom fabrication shop.
They wait for core returns and then turn them into fister d mufflers.

I am sure they are opened. They just had a Grand Opening date a few months back. I am sure he is around.

I received my mufflers from him about a month and a half ago, but ordered in July. Darin said there was quite the backorder, and he was waiting for people to return their stock mufflers to him.

He was pretty responsive via email.

I'm surprised, because when I purchased mine several months ago, everything went smooth as silk In fact, it took me a month to get my old ones back to him because I was working out of town and didn't get around to send back right away. Darin is a great guy, and bent over backwards to get me my order I am another satisified customer

Wow, not sure what happened here. I sincerely apologize Nota for not responding. I try to respond to all email within 24 hours and don't recall missing any voicemails, although it is possible. Please call me at 925-765-5703 at your earliest convenience and I'll get you taken care of asap!

EDIT: Ok, I see what has happened here. Two of my 3.4 core sets where taken out of commission due to core returns that were not usable. That has left me with only one set of 3.4 (manual trans) cans for exchanges. This has put me a bit behind on filling the orders for the earlier cars. I will be getting Nota a set asap. Again sorry for the delay, I get them out as quickly as I can, but due to their popularity I am always playing catch-up!

Nota:
hang in there, Darin does fantastic work and I know that you will love, love, love the end result. He is a total "class act." I dealt with him a little over a year ago, he explained the timing and the process and well worth the wait. I have never looked back, nor regretted the decision to have him modify my mufflers.
Looks like a bit of communication breakdown. but he is on top of it. Let us know what you think once you get the Fister D's installed. I'm betting no regrets. Happy motoring.

+996 to what others have said. Darin is a great guy to do business with. You will LOVE the sound. Well worth the wait! I've had mine almost a year and a half now and I think they are sounding better now than when I first installed them, if that's possible.

Big D and I spoke last night. Unfortunately it was brief because I was having dinner before my church volunteer evening. We got it sorted. As his reputation precedes him he's a great vendor. Thanks D for following up with me. Now I eagerly await my exhaust!
