Default New shoes for winter.

It's that time of the year again and I'm ready. Looking forward to another fun wintery blast.

Last picture was taken from last year.

You should be happy with those. I use Blizzaks on my C4S and they are great.

I take mine skiing all the time during the winter months. You'll know when the now is too deep.

Yup. You should be good to go. Usually 4 - 5 inches is the limit for me. I take the Cayenne if there's more snow than that!

Watch our for potholes, especially in the parking lots of the ski areas.

I'm actually taking the day off and going skiing tomorrow, but I'm not taking the C4S.

Thanks! We're looking forward to it. I've only been to A-Basin so far this year. We haven't hit Keystone or Breckenridge yet. After talking it over with my wife, I think we are going to go to Breck.

Other than Killington, which is always the first(along with Sunday River)to open ...do any of the mtns. have snow? I ski at Loon and Sunday River ,but have never skied this early in the season.

When I venture into snowy/icy areas I like to carry a nice sturdy tow strap just in case the car gets high sided in a bit of deep snow or just ends up stuck. A tow strap with an u-bolt through the towing eye at either the front or rear of the car and the two strap connected to another vehicle with a willing owner/driver of course, can quickly pull the car out a trouble. With a tow strap you don't have to worry about a heavy chain and the tow strap can be connected more easily to the tow vehicle.

Even if you have to call a tow truck having your own tow strap cuts down on the time it takes to get the car unstuck.

Sincerely,

Macster.

Anybody driven both the Blizzaks and the Snowsports? My Pirellis are about to have their last winter. Curious about the options.
