Default Need opinions, turbo or C2 bumper?

I sold my GT2 front bumper. The PO, when he replaced the bumper, replaced the entire cooling system to turbo/GT2 radiators.

I bought a standard bumper but it doesn't fit because the radiators are too big.

I wanted a standard bumper because my car is a plain Jane standard C2 with MK1 side skirts.

So......I have two options...

1) replace all the radiators and brackets in the front end and put on the stock plain bumper.

Or

2) keep the cooling system as is and buy a turbo bumper that should be a direct fit.

The turbo bumper is not the right one for my car but it's much less aggressive than the GT2.

I like a little aggressiveness, the turbo is cool without being over the top and I wouldn't have to replace the entire cooling system.

I'm willing to change the cooling system, it will be a big job and that's ok, I just want it to look great.

So I'm looking for opinions, do you think I should put on the stock C2 bumper and replace the cooling system or buy a turbo bumper and bolt it right on.

Which do you think would look better????

Opinions please...

Are you sure you wouldn't have to change anything else in order for the turbo bumper cover to fit?

I'd go for the turbo bumper cover, personally. It will look good with the skirts. Your car would look a little bit like a 40th anniversary car...

Turbo bumper just to avoid the extra cost and headache. But get the C4S trim instead of the turbo trim at the bottom.

Are you 100% sure it's the radiator's that were replaced and not just the plastic in front of them?

Just a thought.

Nope it's the radiators. The reason this whole thing started was because I have a small leak in one of the radiators. when i bought a replacement it was much smaller than the one that was in the car.

Whats the difference from a Turbo and a C4S bumper?

Anyone selling one???

Yup, they absolutely did. My only guess is that the PO had a crash and replaced the whole nose with the gt2 nose.

I found a turbo bumper on eBay, any thoughts on what it would cost to have it painted? It also needs a little bodywork.

I bought a turbo bumper. I agree that it's too much trouble to change the ENTIRE cooling system for a bumper. It will look good. Not as aggressive as the GT-2 but not quite stock either.

What's the difference in the turbo bottom lip spoiler and the one for the C4S?

The turbo lip spoiler is a little more aggressive and a little more expensive. The C4S lip isn't as low, and won't scrape on the ground quite as much...

They both look good, and with the side skirts you might like the turbo lip. Here's a photo of each to show you the difference.
