I had to emergency(not battery) close top. I turned the flaps in and back latch lid open with the allen wrench. Then turned them back for electric operation now the top is open all the way. When I hit the close rocker switch the motor runs a few seconds than stop and nothing happens. I just got this car. Thanks, Cory in Reno

I would check the fluid level first.
If you do a couple of searches in the forum I believe there a couple DIYs on how to do it.

I searched but can't seem to find where to check the fluid levels for the top.

I just did the fluid fill about two weeks ago. Was about half-full. Fairly straighforward, but getting that allen screw back into the pump was a pain in the a$$, especially with hydraulic fluid on my fingers!
